The Flowers! Oh the flowers!
I could smell the perfume from three feet away. Leonard Kreusch Moselblumchen "Small flowers of the Mosel" Like the name implies the floral notes are overpowering.
I'm a huge fan of German wines. I can't figure out the labels to save my life, but I enjoy them all the same. I'd never come across this one before. There was no way to resist the temptation to try something new (and it was on sale too!)
In the mouth this wine is as fruity as it is floral. It is a light refreshing wine that is perfect for sipping on hot summer evenings. Enjoy it with light dishes or as an aperitif.
